The Haiti Appeal by The High Kings, Wolfe Tones and more…

I sneaked into The High Kings website to check what the guys are up to. I found out that there’s an album out called “On The One Road” by The High Kings and Wolfe Tones. It is mentioned that all proceeds will go to Goal Haiti Earthquake Appeal. I think this album is worth buying not only for the music but also for the help it can do. The Chieftains wrapping new album with Linda Ronstadt

Lengendary Celtic band The Chieftains has big plans for this year. Among them the new album with Linda Ronstadt whom they also collaborated with the 1996 Santiago

In 2009, The Chieftains will be wrapping up a new album focused on this Celtic-Mexican connection, featuring a track with famed singer Linda Ronstadt among other guests.  For the 2009 tour, The Chieftains will perform selections that span their latest and greatest hits, many of which are found on their 2006 release The Essential Chieftains, as well as preview selections from this new album.
