Reel Roots Announces Two Cincinnati Concerts


Two concert events to feature John Whelan, Tommy O’Sullivan, Brendan Begley, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh
CINCINNATI—6 May 2010—Reel Roots Folk Music Alliance, a Cincinnati‐based Celtic music promoter, has announced two upcoming
concerts.
The first concert on Thursday, October 28, 2010 will feature Brendan Begley and Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh.
“Brendan and Caoimhín will be making their first appearance in our area,” said Kristen Kirby, promoter and owner, “This is a very rare
performance which makes it all the more exciting.”
Begley is known for his singing and for performing traditional Irish music on his accordion. Begley is also a member of the well‐known
band, Boys of the Lough. Ó Raghallaigh, originally from Dublin, Ireland, is a fiddle player known for his creative approach to the
traditional genre.
The second concert is Wednesday, November 10, 2010 and features John Whelan and Tommy O’Sullivan.
“John Whelan is a world‐renowned button accordion player and Tommy O’Sullivan is a noted singer and guitarist. The combination of
these two performers will make for a very special event for Cincinnati,” said Kirby.
Reel Roots is also hosting a giveaway on their website.
“The winner will receive two tickets to an event of their choice and a signed concert poster,” said Kirby. “Details are available on our

Reel Roots Brings Celtic Music to Cincinnati this Fall!

Ok guys. Those living in the are are fortunate to watch this gathering of all Celtic musicians from all over the globe to celebrate the vibrant spirit of  traditional music. Cole Imperi sent me an email to spread the news and so this is what I am doing right now. Another public service 🙂
