October 4 Opens the Biggest Music Show in Ireland

Enya producer Nicky Ryan is among the luminaries who will be on the panel discussion at the Royal Dublin Society’s Music Show on October 4th. Irish Independent reports that this is the biggest music show in Ireland and will include important names in the business. Noel Hogan of The Cranberries, Bill Whelan(Composer of Riverdance), Luka Bloom, Jim Kerr(Simple Minds) and David Arnold (Producer and  James Bond composer) are among the names who will be in attendance. Hello Celtic music lovers. We have a featured blogger today by the name of Christi Boersma . According to her profile bio: “ I have gardens, pups (2) and am married. This year is a good year for music. A lot of festivals are being set up. One of them is Yachats Celtic Festival.The official site is still on the making . I am however sure that more news are coming as the month of November moves closer. Check out the design on the website. Isn’t that beautiful?  I will keep my eyes open for this one. The originating place is in Oregon. If you want to get further details then you can check out the myspace page. That way you can listen to the list of friends making the kind of music that fits this festival. Or listen to the YC radio

In case some of you missed my previous post, something big is happening in Cape Breton ,Nova Scotia .Celtic Colors International Festival is being launched.

It is a musical event representing the Celtic spirit. This is a note from Dan Coffin. I am posting it here so that we will know what is really happening :

Thanks for the post. Much appreciated when i see things like this going on on-line. I wanted to write to tell you that the Festival Line-up will be launched on Monday June 22nd, and ticket will be available July 6th.
We are also launching some new tools in the social media game to try to reach more people and groups that have a shared interest in Celtic Music. On Monday we will unveil a facebook fan page, twitter account, flicker photos, and an eNewsletter! Check back at the website for these links, and to be included in the newsletter distribution.
