Solas was at the Muskegon festival I attended, but though they were good, they weren’t up to the hype I’d been getting. Their sound system was too loud and though the instrumentals were good, the vocals were difficult to follow because of their sound system. The same stage had Slide and Natalie McMaster and their sound was great.

I will have to borrow this CD from a friend to see if they are better than my first experience with them.
